what is urdimbre social?

The warp is the weft on which life is woven. Like the networks that form the neurons in our brain. Like the social fabric in which we are built as people. Like the precious and imperfect mesh of family, friends and the emotional experiences of our lives.

The creation of Urdimbre Social has its origins in reflecting on the needs and concerns of our current society. It is in the intervention in this sociocultural framework where the relevance of their contribution lies: weaving, interweaving and connecting resources for the benefit, use and improvement of the community. We believe that comprehensive Well-being must be understood from the dynamic and complex interaction of several domains that we must assess both by objective indicators and from the subjectivity of people themselves: Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Material, Occupational, Social and Suprapersonal.

Urdimbre Social thus establishes its operation in two areas of action aimed at promoting education for life, throughout life: Socio-educational intervention and Comprehensive Well-being. At the European and International level in the development of projects, our areas are channeled to the development of specific actions and projects on Education for Emotional Well-being (OMS) and for Skills Training, from a transdisciplinary approach in which Psychopedagogy, Sciences participate Social and Humanities.

AREAS OF INTERVENTION

SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION

We develop socio-educational projects to train young people in skills for their participation in society and the prevention of risk behaviors from the perspective of emotional education. Our focus in this area of ​​intervention, in short, is aimed at the Emotional Well-being of children and adolescents as a prevention proposal for mental health from the field of education.

INTEGRAL WELLNESS

The development of people requires learning for life, throughout life, that addresses the dynamic and complex interaction of domains for well-being that we must understand both through objective indicators and from people’s own subjectivity: Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Material, Occupational, Social and Suprapersonal.

INTERVENTIONS IN THE SOCIO-COMMUNITY FIELD

We work in the socio-community field from an interdisciplinary approach built from anthropology, psychopedagogy and the humanities. It is about mobilizing and energizing groups to contribute to the full development of their common capabilities and the well-being of the community through the cohesion and structuring of communities.

Urdimbre Social is a social interest cooperative whose values ​​as a project are born from the belief in the strength of collaboration and mutual cooperation. About us

Fernando Carvallo García (Manager), one of its threads. In lifelong learning, as a teacher I have been involved in the authentic development of people for more than fifteen years, developing training actions for all formal, non-formal and informal educational levels in collaboration with national, European and international educational institutions. I believe, to believe and to create, in a School as the nerve center of action and social change.

José María Santero de Torres (Technical Director), another thread. I have been professionally dedicated to Education for twenty years; first in an educational innovation center, then as head of an international children’s organization in Andalusia. In addition to my university training in Education, during my professional career I studied Social and Cultural Anthropology, I specialized in immigration and social exclusion, and I focused my research on the Master in Emotional Education on life coping in Adolescents with High abilities.
